Josephine Bolt RGN is the founder of MY NURSE. It has been a long term goal of Josephine’s to develop a nursing service based around patient choice and to enable patients to be treated in the comfort and safety of their own home. Josephine trained at the University of Hertfordshire and went directly from qualifying into the specialist field of oncology nursing. After many happy years working at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood she moved into the field of community nursing for a private company and then onto a role as a Ward Sister at the Harley Street Clinic. Looking for new challenges and experiences she then went on to become an educational Iron Therapy Nurse Advisor for a pharmaceutical company. After a very exciting 12 months developing the nurse advisor role and travelling around the UK and Eire Jo then returned to a more clinical role as Ward Manager at a private hospital. Then finally onto a Clinical Manager position with another community based company. After this role ended in redundancy for the nursing team Jo made the decision to move forward in the development of her own company and with the wealth of knowledge and experience MY NURSE Ltd was created.
